Description

Mark Lindsay was lead singer and played sax for Paul Revere & The Raiders in the early 60s. What most don't know is that he was the composer (and performer) of many songs that came to be pop classics in the late 60s and early 70s.

Among the most popular of his songs, included in this CD as he first performed them, are: "Leaving On a Jet Plane", "I'll Never Fall in Love Again", "Silver Bird", and "We've Only Just Begun". (Bet you thought that was a song by The Carpenters, didn't you?)

This is a classic album - as the album title claims. Hard to find, worth listening to if you like the oldies.
