C'è sempre la possibilità che la "cura" venga segnalata come infetta da alcuni antivirus, a questo proposito vorrei ricordare che:
1) gli antivirus identificano le infezioni ricercando all'interno dei files scansionati una particolare stringa di caratteri (signature);
2) capita spesso che le "cure" contengano la stessa signature e vengano quindi bollate come virus anche quando sono innocue;
3) questo non toglie che capiti altrettanto spesso di trovare "cure" che vengono utilizzate per diffondere malware, in particolare trojan;
4) in fondo alla pagina coi risultati delle scansioni di VirSCAN.org compare questa scritta:
"NOTICE: It may be false positive by some scanners when they found a malware, so you should judge it by yourself", ovvero,
"Nella lista potrebbero esserci dei falsi positivi, quindi giudicate voi stessi", sottoscrivo in toto il messaggio
invitando tutti gli utenti ad eseguire i controlli che ritengono necessari ed a comportarsi di conseguenza.
