Mahler Symphony No5 - Scherchen, Vienna 1952 (Westminster)

Dedicated Scherchen collectors will have this famous recording but I post if for the rest. This is Scherchen\'s studio recording of Mahler\'s 5th, done in Vienna in 1952 and thus in MONO sound. Still it is something worth acquiring since he uses more sensible tempi here than his frenetic (and indeed breathtaking) live accounts, especially the one in France, played by the ORTF Orchestra.
