Opis:

W latach 1980-1988 Magnum był jednym z najczęściej oglądanych na świecie seriali telewizyjnych.
Popularność ta była w dużej części zasługą Toma Sellecka, odtwórcy głównej roli detektywa Magnum,
luksusowo żyjącego w posiadłości na Hawajach. Magnum nie jest bogaty:
zarządza majątkiem zawsze nieobecnego właściciela i korzysta beztrosko z jego jaskrawoczerwonego Ferrari.
Magnum nie cieszy się tym bogactwem sam: towarzyszy mu staroświecki były sierżant Higgins (John Hillerman).

Storyline:

Thomas Magnum is employed on the Hawaiian estate of a wealthy absentee owner name Robin Masters.
The estate is run by Jonathan Higgins who mostly tolerates Magnum's presence as head of security on the estate.
Magnum is also a private detective whose cases frequently have a humorous overtone and always just enough danger.
