Description
Magic: The Gathering - Shandalar is a game published by MicroProse in 1997 and is based on the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering. It is named after the Shandalar plane where the game takes place. As the player you will travel the planes randomly generated lands to fight many different enemies, each with their own decks/AI, while gaining cards for their defeat. Eventually you will face each of the powerful wizards that represent the five mana colors, who you then must defeat to beat the game. Adventure game and role-playing elements are present, including: inventory, gold, towns, dungeons, battles, random events and character progression. Added in the included Shandalar 2012 Mod: -New Deckbuilder and Duel User Interface -Updated Enemy Decks -Updated Card Images Unlike other MTG games, decks are fully customizable in this one! Installation Just unzip and enjoy this recently enhanced version of a classic MTG game. Tips To Save/Load press the S or L key while exploring. To sell a card, while in a town right click on the card and select 'Sell'. Known Issue Occasionally some of the windows will still fail to draw properly (for example when cancelling an effect, or when the area gets really messy with cards). When that happens, just right click on your large playing area (your territory), and choose "Duel Options..", then click Ok. This will force a redraw that will fix things for you. Even quicker, if you know that the opponent is just waiting for you to pass a phase, just press ENTER and you will go to the next phase. Other than that this game actually runs better on OS X than XP (or later) since it was originally made for Windows 95 and I have re-used the original '95 .dll files within the wineskin. Please let me know if there are any other classic windows games you would like me to port to mac. Thank you for seeding. Related Torrents
