MAGI is an indie strategy game about wizard duels. It mixes some features of collectible card games, like MtG, with intense action of martial arts games, like Tekken or Mortal Kombat. On the top of that, it adds an RPG style character development to spice things up. It's also fun to play.



The player creates a mage, chosing from various professions and attributes, and then starts dueling other wizards in order to gain more power. Battles involve lots of strategy and quick decision making and there are various tactics that can lead to victory. As the duels go, the character gains more experience points and player is able to pick new attributes and spells. The basics are simple, but can lead to many interesting aproaches and builds, as can be seen on the Strategy section of our forums.



The player's character gains power but also advances in age. And no mage is immortal. Eventually every wizard will have to face his/her final opponent - the Death herself. Winning means immortality, losing means death. Defeating the Death is the main goal of the game and all thes trategy and character development are preparations for this final battle. Be warned - it won't be easy.



Choose one of ten different characters and start dueling your opponents in a battle of skill, tactics and wits.

What are the game's highlights:

* The game's original. It features unique gameplay and is probably the only game concerning wizard duels only. We're not bound by publishers or will to get most money out of mass market, so we just made an unique game we would like to play ourselves.

* It's very carefully balanced and designed to allow different tactics. There's no "Fireball-is-a-better-Firebolt" problem known from other fantasy games. Each spell is useful in some situation and even the simpliest ones excel at something.

* Gameplay conists of short action-packed duels. You can play it all night long, but you can also take a duel or two during a coffee break. Perfect for older, more busy gamers.

* Game features a lengthy and high quality soundtrack. No need to write much here - just listen to the sample
