It keeps crashing when Installing Mafia 2.

For those with windows 8.1 OS you need directplay enabled or the game will crash.
Control panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> Turn windows features on or off
Goto Legacy, and click the checkbox for Directplay, and you are set to go.
It doesn't require a quad at all. It does require a good graphics card and at least 4gigs of ram though. (my ati 5850 had no problems with it)
I think what was posted was the recommended specs, not the min.
