I realize this is a straight DVD rip, but the quality is still not great. I was going to download & convert it all to H.264/x264, but I can actually get better quality from existing xvid versions (even though they're already highly compressed). Perhaps it's just the lower quality of PAL in general, but no amount of deinterlacing/detelecining seems to make it any better. My guess is the xvid versions that are floating around were from NTSC source, so they're just higher quality to start with.
