But can he pedal fast enough before another girl meets the wrong man, at the wrong time, in the wrong place?  ABOUT THE AUTHOR Meirion James Trow was born in Ferndale, South Wales. In his childhood he suffered from ill-health, so his parents decided to move to Macclesfield Forest, high in the Pennines. When he was seven they moved again, this time to Bubbenhall in Warwickshire. He went to Warwick School from 1961 to 1968. In 1968 he went to King's College, London, to read history. After graduation he spent a year at Jesus College, Cambridge. In 1973 he married and in 1976 the couple moved to the Isle of Wight.  ABOUT THE READER Peter Wickham was bitten early by the travel bug, coming to England from New Zealand as a child. He has worked all over England and Wales in repertory and is determined to work more in Scotland! Acting and directing aboard the Q.E.II took him from Singapore to Venezuela, and a short season in Istanbul followed. In 1990 he directed and appeared in a revue on a tour of Czechoslovakia. Many TV appearances started in Dixon of Dock Green (during its later years!) and include most recently A Sense of Guilt. But after theatre his favourite medium is sound; he has been heard many, many times on radio, in plays, reading poetry, short stories and serials.
