Countless misspelled words, broken sentences…in at least two places (so far) I've run across "sectin (sic) missing" where you have no idea what happened, or if anything crucial to the story was left out. Additionally, having read "Sackett" countless times (it's one of my favorite L.L. stories), I know there were some "additions" to the ebook that didn't appear in the paperback novel.
There is absolutely no form to the ebook; in a multi-person dialogue, you often have to "search" to see where one person's statement ends, and the other party's reply begins (e.g. "You thinkin' of going into town to take that bunch on?""I aim to read them from the Book.""I wish I could go with you.""You're too busted up to do anybody any good. You need to stay here and rest up.") Numerous sentences either have no beginning or no end…
Synopsis in a nutshell: If a person were given an assignment to read a Louis L'Amour novel and give an overview of the story, these ebooks would probably suffice. If you're a real fan/collector of Louis L'Amour writing, spare yourself the heartburn and don't bother downloading any of these collections. This is, by far, the worst upload I've seen on KAT. I hope they'll remove the entire collection.
