Ian Bland is the man behind Maison Records, he’s been heavily involved in the dance scene since 1987 and transforming his love of music from jacking to the fresh house sounds of Chicago into a fully-fledged career came when he formed the now Legendary rave outfit Dream Frequency alongside singer Debbie Sharp in 1990, they signed to XL Recordings had 2 top 40 UK hits and performed in front of a million clubbers worldwide for over 20 years!

In the mid 90’s Ian went on to form Dancing Divaz and out of that project came many seminal club classic tracks and remixes for the like of Queen, Prince, Alison Limerick and Paul Oakenfold. Since 2012 Ian has concentrated on his own imprint Maison Records passing his passion for Real House music onto a new generation and with support from Roger Sanchez, My Digital Enemy, Ministry of Sound, Simon Dunmore, Defected and Labelworx the label is growing momentum fast, with the talented up and coming Antony Miles now on board this year is going to be huge, so what better way of kicking it off with distinctly Classy collection of royalty free House samples. Maison Records keeping it REAL!
