Opsomming:

Die wedervaringe van Poenie nadat hy ‘n ongelukkie gehad het met ‘n swystang en in die hospitaal beland vir behandeling en sy troue moet uitstel. Intussen word hy twee maal skuldig bevind aan misdade wat hy nie gepleeg het nie, beland hy kaal in sy sielkundige se woonstel en word hy amper doodgeskiet deur haar verloofde, wat ook die prokureur is wat hom telkens aangekla het.
