'Bleed It Out' is the second single from Linkin Park's third studio album, 'Minutes To Midnight', released on August 20th 2007. The song's music video was directed by Joe Hahn and premiered on July 31st 2007 on MTV Germany. The music video was premiered in the United States on August 6th 2007 all day long on MTV2's "Unleashed". It debuted at No.27 on the Muchmusic Countdown on August 3rd. Although the actual CD track features footsteps leading into an opening door followed by the band performing the song in front of a small audience, the video is much different, as it is just one continuous shot with the band performing on a small stage in front of a reversed bar fight scene. Some of the video was made from green screen while the band is performing on stage in the music video. The video starts as the fight is ending, and at the end of the video, it is revealed that a person vomited on another person's shoe, which started the massive fight. The video was named Muchmusic's No.1 Rock video of 2007.
