Creating a new image from multiple photos might seem daunting at first, but with a little knowledge and experience, you can create interesting composite images in a matter of minutes. Hi, I'm Sean Duggan, and in this course, I'll show you some great Photoshop techniques for working with selections, layer masking, and blend modes, so that you can quickly create your own composite images. Once you learn these basic techniques, you can easily apply them to create collages. As we take a look at these concepts in Photoshop, we'll be working with the program's content aware selection tools, such as Quick Selections, Refine Edge, and Refine Mask. We'll also explore some fast methods for creating and editing layer masks, so you can control the visibility of layers. We'll experiment with the magic of blending modes, and even explore the often amazing and unexpected result that can be achieved with the Blend If sliders. Along the way, we'll create several different composite images that all take about 10 minutes or less to complete.
