Lazarus Story

Detroit-based recording artist Lazarus is set to drop his new mixtape called “Lazarus Story” on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010. Recently graduating from medical school at Michigan State University to obtain his doctor’s degree, Lazarus returns to the music scene with 10 brand new tracks recorded in 2010 along with some classic throwback records. The mixtape blends freestyles with brand new songs including production from DJ Mast and Alpha-Bet of Bang on the Table Productions. Guest features include Hot Lava’s Stretch Money, Quest M.C.O.D.Y., Royce Da 5’9” and the late Proof of D12. The international single “Drug of Choice” featuring a sample from legendary Pakistani musician Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has already began getting airplay on the big radio stations in Pakistan. Meanwhile, the street single and anthem “Too Much Pride” featuring Stretch Money is building buzz in Detroit. The official WDIV theme song for the Detroit Red Wings NHL hockey team for the 2010-2011 season will also make its way on to the disc.
