KRAYNIUM Biog (1999) "Kraynium were formed around Six months ago amidst the disillusionment of the declining Punk scene and the rise of UK Hardcore. The aggressive twin vocalist Deathcore act wish to inform the world of their positive ideals on such issues as Straightedge, the inevitable destruction of Earth and other emotional issues. As a band Kraynium are full on and in your face, with their unique blend of aggressive metallic hardcore and intense influences of death metal they are reaching out to new grounds with their distinct heavy sound, prepare to be amazed. With the recruitment of a new drummer Kraynium are back on track progressing more towards Death Metal with a Floridian metal core edge to it. Kraynium take their influences from such acts as the legendary Iron Monkey, the almighty Canvas and stalwart death metal crew At the Gates. However it is difficult to describe Kraynium's sound, as it is original and increasing with intensity all the time, with such fast progression Kraynium is heading to be one of the many leading metallic Hardcore acts in the UK. With a possible show in Belgium, Kraynium are preparing to devastate various venues throughout the country. In the pipeline are such support slots for Belgian crew Sad Origin and possibly influential favourites Length of Time. Around May time the band will enter the studio to record their eagerly awaited debut progressively titled " Personal Freedom Surrendered ". The album is to be released around June time on the new DIY Hardcore label, Gomorrah. Kraynium will be their first signing to date. An issue that concerns the band is that of Straightedge a lifestyle in which the vocalists strongly follow. Straightedge is a positive movement concerned with the rejection of alcohol, drugs and smoking. A positive lifestyle intent on purifying the body. As a band Kraynium have mixed opinions on certain issues such as Straightedge, Veganism and politics however as a band they respect each others rights and beliefs and prove that unity does exist in Hardcore.Recently Kraynium have created much debate over a certain song called " Justified meat content" this song is primarily about people attacking us because we consume meat, a decision which should be left to us. This song is about those people that won't leave us alone and let us make our own decisions."
