Kings and Queens of Ancient Egypt (two books) Chronicles of the Pharaohs and Chronicles of the Queens of Egypt

These two books, "Chronicles of the Pharaohs" and "Chronicles of the Queens of Ancient Egypt" both present a popular history, a reference tool, and a visual introduction to the more than 170 pharaohs and the many queens who ruled with them and sometimes as pharaoh in their own right. The biographical portraits allow us a glimpse into the lives of those who ruled the first nation-state in history, from the "founding father of Egypt", King Narmer, to it's last ruler, the final pharaoh of the Grecian Ptolomaic line, the famously tragic Cleopatra.
