Well, I do not doubt what you write. \n
But I also really doubt that this can be caused by my equipment :-) [If so, I would bump into that problem on other tracks, which I do not]. \n
But if you have some time, take a listen to those files and tell me if you're not encountering the same problems as I have...\n

this rip has a 100% log ripped by EAC and therefore is a perfect copy of the original,if the sound quality is not perfect that is due to the recording or the system of the listener

Hi,
This torrent will give you what's indicated : the new Katie Melua CD "KETEVAN". \n
But I highly doubt that this is a rip that equals the original's quality. \n
On my system, you simply cannot listen to it properly because each time Katie sing s alittle louder, the sound is audibly saturated and gets totally distorted.

Hi Politux,
Sorry, I'm not trolling. Obviously, I do have problems with files coming from dickthespic. Every file I get from him is distorted. \n
I do not doubt that the files are good... but on my computer and played back streamed from my Oppo BDP-105 Blu-Ray player, hooked up to my Linn Keltik that are active quadri amplified, I get a distorted result that can be heard in the treble area where the sound seems to be surrounded by a "buzz". \n
So maybe some incompatibility between my system and the way dickthespic compresses his files.\n
I'll try some other and will report if I have more luck. \n
And I appreciate the work from dickthespic : those are really good CD's, artistically and sonically (at least from the ones I own...). \n
