The action takes palce in a Mega-City – the city of the future. The public order has been under control of the so-called ‘Judges’. Their duty is to pursue, arrest or kill criminals.
One day a criminal called Rico appeared in Mega-City. He killed most of the ‘Judges’ with the help of his people. The city became flooded with criminals. To save Mega-City, one of the judges, Joseph Dredd, undertakes to find and kill Ricco.
