Although written in 1928, this story of men in the trenches of World War 1 continues to be incredibly powerful. A tremendous production of this anti-war classic.

When I saw a stage version of this a few years ago, the entire audience literally collectively held their breath as the play reached its tragic climax - I never remember being in such a silent theatre.
