John Lennon - Imagine (Quad Remix)

Just so we're all aware, this is NOT the original 1974 Quad mix. This is a remix to Quadraphonic sound from a multitrack source. I tried to remain faithful to the stereo mixes, but at the same time, open up the soundstage to reveal some instrumental separation. However, I can now understand why the original Quad mix was a bit of a dud. Between track bleed, Phil Spector's production techniques and possibly John's own stubbornness - what we got was what we got.

This remix does tend to show some of those deficiencies, but try to enjoy the music in this much more discrete, 4.0 surround-sound version.
