Hornet's Nest was recorded in Nashville and produced by the new blues "go to" guy, songwriter and musician Tom Hambridge (whose credits include cool albums from James Cotton, George Thorogood, and Buddy Guy, among others). Walker recorded with a crackerjack band in the Music City, including Hambridge on drums, bassist Tommy MacDonald, former Double Trouble keyboardist Reese Wynans, and second guitarist Rob McNelley.
