ABOUT THE BOOK
A 14-year old girl is raped at one of the Salvation Army summer camps. Twelve years later on a freezing night in Oslo, Christmas shoppers gather to listen to a Salvation Army street concert. An explosion cuts through the music, and a man in uniform falls to the ground, shot in the head at point-blank range. Harry Hole and his team have no immediate suspect, no weapon and no motive. But then the assassin discovers he has shot the wrong man. A press photographer has caught a suspect on one of the photos of the concert. After some exceptionally shrewd detective work, the team begins to close in on a suspected hit man, monitoring his credit card, false passport and the line to his employer. With no money, only six bullets and no place to stay in the bitter cold, the hit man becomes increasingly desperate. He will stop at nothing to eliminate his target.


ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jo Nesbø is a bestselling Norwegian author and musician. He was born in Oslo and grew up in Molde. Nesbø graduated from the Norwegian School of Economics with a degree in economics. Nesbø is primarily famous for his crime novels about Detective Harry Hole, but he is also the main vocals and songwriter for the Norwegian rock band Di Derre. In 2007 Nesbø also released his first children's book, Doktor Proktors Prompepulver.

Sean Barrett was born May 4, 1940 in Hampstead, London and began his acting career as a child for the BBC and has since made numerous television appearances including roles in Z Cars, Minder, Tales of the Unexpected and Father Ted. He played alongside Noel Coward in the West End and has had film parts in War and Peace, Dunkirk and Sons and Lovers.
