Thought it would be nice to seed two versions of Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock: OFFICIAL vs. BOOTLEG or INDUSTRY vs. ENTHUSIASTS. No surprise, that there are differences: Of course the sound of the official release is slightly better - but not so much as expected. If you want the complete footage, you should listen to 'Woodstock Project' - it includes also the songs lacking on the official release (Mastermind and Gypsy Woman/Aware of Love). Regarding the money & technical power of Sony Music compared to the capabilities of some enthusiasts from The Complete Woodstock Project - my choice is clear: I LOVE WOODSTOCK PROJECT! max
