If you are a Hendrix fan and you have a high end system or good headphones, this collection of the classics is a must-have. The new "Blu-Spec" format really improves these old classics. All I can say is that these versions are, at least to my ears, significantly better sounding than any of the earlier releases. The sound is smoother, more distinct, less compressed, and more "analog" in terms of that ephemeral concept of "warmth." As the upper said, "if you don't believe me, check them out for yourself!"
