Jamie attends a football match, Rotherham United are playing at home, the last match of the season. At half time, he is bricking it as he goes onto the pitch to tell 5,000 blokes that he’s up in Rotherham to get people cooking and wants them to pass it on. ‘You fat bastard!’ chants the crowd. Nevertheless Jamie attracts 100 men to sign up.



Jamie’s class are still not passing on his recipes. Julie Critchlow suggests he gets new people in the class who will pass it on. From the men he met at the football Jamie organises a mass pass it on at the football stadium and invites Julie Critchlow to come and help. 62 men come with pots and pans. Jamie teaches two in the first line. Those two teach four. The line of four teach the next line of eight. The eight teach the next line of sixteen. Finally the sixteen teach the last line of 32 – all in two and a half hours.
