About Ivo Sedlacek
Ivo Sedlacek graduated from the Academy of Musical Arts in Prague as a student of the renowned Czech violinist Vaclav
Snitil. After graduation in 1991 he set out for India, where he studied Indian classical music for five years. He
received personal guidance from a number of great Hindustani violinists. Ivo studied further with renowned vocalist and
musicologist Pandit Dinkar Kaikini, and legendary flute master, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. He received training in
South Indian classical music from Prof.T.N.Krishnan and R.Swaminathan.
In addition, Ivo's personal quest for spiritual development led him to work with many great spiritual masters. As a
result, a dedicated practice of yoga and spiritual disciplines has opened the door to new musical perspectives for him.
Ivo now devotes his time to materializing his visions of elevating music and sharing his experiences with his
listeners.
He is a co-founder of the Fontana, Yamuna and Kailash music ensembles and performs regularly across Europe and in the
Far East. Partnered with Geza M.Timcak for their Savita Yoga system, Ivo and Geza have been regular guests at the

Savita Music
What makes Savita music so special and different from the endless array of "new age" records? The secret
power of Savita music comes from the flow of inspiration from the music to the listener, channeled by the pure sound of
real acoustic instruments.
Be it violin, viola, flutes, guitar, tuned glass, monochord or the many other instruments used in Savita music, you can
feel the subtle healing vibration of natural music resonating deep within your body and mind.
When you listen to Savita music, you can experience streams of ethereal melodies flowing spontaneously from the heart
of musicians directly to you.
You can also delve deep into the power of ancient mantras charged with uplifting energy... According to many listeners
worldwide, the Mantras series (Mantras I, II and Gopala) belong to the best mantras recordings ever created.

Savita Yoga
Savita Yoga is an original yoga system that connects powerful yoga practices with the profound energies of ancient
mantras and special live music. Savita Yoga basically works with energies and can help to purify, balance and revitalise
the mind, body and spirit. It also supports the inner way to the Absolute.
The rebirth of Savita Yoga originated in the late eighties when Geza M. Timcak and Ivo Sedlacek started their in-depth
study into the meaning and implications of Vedic mantras and of the yoga practices as defined in the classical yoga
tradition. During the long years of co-operation and receiving inspiration both at home and in India, they also explored
a number of revolutionary possibilities of using music, sounds, vibrations and mantras to intensify the inner processes
during a number of yoga and transpersonal practices.
Three points were of utmost importance:
1. The discovery of the significance of Gayatri mantra as a spiritual path for human evolution
2. Mapping the effects of intensive pranayama on the states of consciousness, both in the sense of classical yoga
tradition and of transpersonal psychology.
3. Developing entirely new musical approach where live music becomes an extremely powerful, transforming and yet very
sublime medium reaching the deeper levels of psyche and consciousness
A deep source of inspiration, knowledge and spiritual energy was later projected to Savita Yoga through the great South
Indian Spiritual Master Mahaswi Tathata.

Live music is at the core of Savita Yoga seminars and supports and empowers most of its unique practices (Chakra
breathing, Savita Tattwa Sudhi, Mantra Pranayama etc.). Imagine music (real LIVE music, not just some
"esoteric" sounds), played and created just for you and in your presence. Music that touches your innermost
being and lets your body and soul flow on its soothing streams. Music consisting of "celestial" melodies of
violin, viola, flutes and guitar, accompanied by subtle flowing harmonies of tuned glass, Indian zither and many other
very special instruments. At other times using ecstatic drum rhythms and percussion, it creates a 'trance like' state
that allows the participant to connect with the deep vibrational essence within, helping on your inner discovering and
harmonising journey ...
