I nostri RIP vengono creati mediante il programma HandBrake. Il formato che ne nasce (.mkv) dalle dimensioni ridotte, avviene mediante un encoding particolare con framerate e bitrate variabili con doppia passata lenta, che permette di ridurre il bitrate video, e quindi le dimensioni del file, mantenendo allo stesso tempo la qualità video e audio del file originale. Nei nostri RIP è sempre attivo il sistema Cropping (importantissimo per rimuovere le fastidiose bande nere ed ottimizzare il risultato finale). Infine - per evitare vistose alterazioni dell'immagine usiamo dei filtri "Decomb" e "Detelecine" che si occupano di eliminare automaticamente eventuali errori/problemi.
