Iron Eagle is a 1986 action film. The films
stars Jason Gedrick, Academy Award winner
Louis Gossett, Jr. as Col. Charles
'Chappy' Sinclair and David Suchet features the
hit songs "One Vision" (by Queen) and
"We're Not Gonna Take It" (by Twisted Sister)
as part of its soundtrack. A young Shawnee
Smith appears as one of Doug's friends.

Iron Eagle II



Iron Eagle II is a 1988 action film about
a joint United States/Soviet task force
formed to counter the threat of an unnamed
Middle Eastern country. The task force is
led by US Air Force Colonel
(briefly promoted to Brigadier General during the film)
Charles 'Chappy' Sinclair (Louis Gossett, Jr.).
The Middle Eastern country is threatening both
superpowers with nuclear ICBMs. As the task force
attempts to accomplish its goals, it must overcome
political sabotage as well as cultural and personal
grudges. U.S. Air Force pilot, Captain Matt Cooper
(Mark Humphrey) a former wingman of Doug Masters
(Jason Gedrick) is an integral part of the task
force as the flight leader. The film grossed $10,497,324.



Iron Eagle III



The film starred Louis Gossett Jr. as Chappy Sinclair,
reprising his role from the prior films in the series,
Iron Eagle and Iron Eagle II. Iron Eagle III was
noteworthy as one of the first films to cast a woman
(former bodybuilder Rachel McLish as Anna) as a
physically strong character. The film grossed $2,517,600.


Iron Eagle IV



While Chappy Sinclair (Louis Gossett Jr.) is
saddled with a bunch of misfits and delinquents
for his flight school, he turns to his protégé
Doug Masters (Jason Cadieux) to assist him in
rounding them into shape for an important competition.
During their training, they stumble upon a group of
subversive air force officers who are dealing in toxic
waste as a sideline.
