Works fine, some apps seem to crash though. Like instructions said. Press Alt (Mac) + Check for Updates. And select your IPSW file.
Should install file without having to pay for UDID activation.

i got a activation issue .......
after restoration, when in itunes i click on my device then there is say" Activation error "\n
someone help.............

You need a developers account. $100. I tried it and had to do a hard reset. Google it. Hopefully you backed up your phone before trying it
