seems to me people that also complain
havent a clue about watching it with VLC\n
and turning on its real time sharpener.. and slide the\n
knob to find the sweet spot\n
I use it all the time .. its like going from blurred vision to eagle eyes..\n
if watch in media classic it will look rubbish\n
in fact use vlc with sharpener always on..\n
really makes a big difference

You clearly forget about the great number of users who use that "old gear" to watch on their televisions which do not have the VLC sharpening tools. If your video sources are so freaking fuzzy to begin with why not use a avisynth script to clean them up a bit for the encode? Pumping out crap and expecting people to clean it up themselves is freakin weak, dude. Totally freakin weak.
