you can hardcode the subs onto the video by using "total video converter. Its pretty easy to use and you can find a good version easily enough looking here on KAT. if you need help with the program you should sign up and then you can message me directly. i never know if i have messages unless i search ALL the torrents but its ok

the .srt files are the subtitles. windows media player doesnt always read external subs. try vlc media player. that will definitely work

sorry, just saw your comment. VLC is a downloadable media player that can read many formats. Another good one is KMPlayer. As long as the subtitle file is named exactly the same as the video file, those programs will play the subtitle file automatically.
