IDM.iso UPDATED with firefox 33.1

IDM 5.05 working for LINUX LITE 2.4 USERS:

Though this is an iso file don't burn this to cd.
Just rightclick and select Extract Here in LinuxLite2.2
This Torrent is useless for Windows OS users.


A VERY GOOD NEWS To all users of LinuxLite 2.2

An old version of IDM(internet download manager) v5.05 can be installed along with Integration into firefox.exe 27.0.1

Can”t believe such impossible thing ,then

Follow the steps:

1.Download IDMANAGER 5.05

2.Open Menu->>Games->>Playonlinux (sudo apt-fast install playonlinux).

3.Click on Configure.




4.New window with defualt is opened.


There are 2 options New and Remove (VV-IMP)

5.Click on New @left bottom .

6.Click Next->>defualt wine as System then click on Next.


7.Give a name as IDM. And click on Next.

8.Click on newly created IDM on left-pane.


9.Select Miscellaneous Tab->>Run a .exe file in this virtual-drive.


10.Browse to the downloaded IDM 5.05 exe file..

11.Install as usual.


12.This is actually trial version of 30days.

{IMP} Remove whole virtual-drive of IDMANAGER after 30days.

13.Repeat the process of creation of new virtual drive IDM.

14.Again you will gain 30days. And create a Loop.

15.Now Click on created IDM virtual-drive->>General->>Make a new shortcut for this virtual-drive.


18.Find IDM and click next and rename from IDMan to IDM.


19.IDM shortcut is created on Desktop.


20.Here I (SKD-I) created IDM integration for browsers as you get in Windows OS which was IMPOSSIBLE TILL NOW IN THE HISTORY, with an outdated IDM 5.05 version.

21.Select Extract Files Here option.Internet Download Manager ZIP is shown.


Exit IDM from tray.


22.Copy the Folder INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER and browse where you created idm in playonlinux.
/home/user-name/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/IDM/drive_c/Program Files/


here user-name is name give by you during installation
Playonlinux directory is created when playonlinxu is installed.
IDM is the name given by me when creating a virtual-drve.

Program files

23.Paste here and replace with default folder..


STAGE II

24.Now Install Firefox.exe or Chrome.exe in the same IDM virtual-drive by clicking on IDM->>Miscellaneous->>Run a .exe file in this virtual-drive.I have given firefox 27.0.1. If adguard(main.xpi) doesn't work for Firefox 27 then try Firefox 33.1.1.





25.Do not create separate virtualdrives or else idm will not be integrated.


26.Now copy idmzcc.xpi from replaced internet download manager and drag into firefox->>Tools->>Addons.


27.Install IDM addon.


You can also create firefox exe shotcut on Desktop(steps 15-19).

28.Test Drive.
29.Open Youtube or Dailymotion
