I\'VE GOT A SECRET -- Bette Davis and Pete Best (

This is one of the more noteable American TV guest appearances by ex-Beatles drummer Pete Best....just one month after The Beatles made their first 3 appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. Probably the first one by Pete from my lifetime was on Late Night with David Letterman in 1982.



Can't this man ever give an interview and not face the embarassment of his decision to leave the biggest rock band in history (because he thought they weren't going anywhere)?? Of course not. And that's part of the fun!



Pete must have had several bands over the years, because The Pete Best Band (which includs his brother) didn't release their first CD until 2008. Unlike Ringo Starr, Best never took to singing -- he still only plays drums.



Bette Davis' segment in this show is poorly handled though, because the panelists aren't even trying to guess her secret. You'll know what I mean when you watch it.
