House, M.D. Season 6, in 1080p in x265 aka HEVC and HE-AAC 5.1 English and

English subs, all for about 352mb each! Includes 5 Blu-ray extras.

Encoded using the time consuming 2 pass, from the Blu-ray source, for the highest quality possible.

The .srt, subs packs did not synch up, the PSG subs where far too large adding 100s of MBs per episode.

I ended up taking hours to make OCR .srt for English subs.

*House, M.D. "early HD" and is pretty grainy like other shows at the time.

Turn down your gamma, sit on the couch, and stop staring at the background.
Shitty screen, like the ones I find in hotels, do make my encodes look like shit. At home, they look great. Screens matter.
I have watched my encodes right after watching live broadcast and my encodes look better. I really don't know what to say except go by the damn Blu-ray or just download my source.

I tended to think the same way as "anonymous"... but Joybell's quality is top notch. Somehow she gets better than 50% compression at very similar quality. When she does 10bit x265 stuff, it's out of this world (but I would assume takes longer to encode).

p.s. seriously... who is still burning things to DVD?!
