The two issues I faced were:
1. Apparently this needs DirectX 9c. I had 11 but there are some files that are only there in 9c. So the start up gave a missing .dll error. Installing 9c fixed that.
2. I have an ATI card so I also needed to install PhysX to run this game.
So far decent game and a good rip. No errors yet.
