This is the one hour program from Hearts of Space Radio Show that was broadcast on the weekend of October 19, 1984. While it is an autumn program, it has a title "Sunwheel" which I thought is appropriate for this summer weekend. This program has not been uploaded here at KAT before by me. This time we're going back to the gentle, innocent days of what you might call new acoustic/chamber/space/jazz. We'll be hearing music from the U.S. by cellist DAVID DARLING from "CYCLES", guitarist MICHAEL HEDGES from "AERIEL BOUNDARIES", and a now disbanded acoustic group called RADIANCE featuring JIM SCOTT, DAVID DARLING, and NANCY RUMBEL, from their album LAKE UNTO THE CLOUDS.

From Holland, music by two acoustic groups called FLAIRCK and MAMADEUS; and from Hawaii, a piece by sitarist RICHARD GARNEAU from his album SUNWHEEL and cellist-composer BOB KINDLER, from MUSIC FROM THE MATRIX, Volume 2. It all has an early autumn feel about. Let's borrow a transition image from Richard Garneau and call it — a journey on THE SUNWHEEL...on this edition of Hearts of Space.
