With hauppauge, to install a newer version they want an old one inserted.. Check the web site for details.. charge usd 10 for it.. I have a blank "hacked" disk with just the filenames on it.. that allows this to install both the new ver and the extended files :)

A valid WinTV v7 application CD-ROM or a WinTV v7 installation code will be needed to install this WinTV v8 version. If you do not have your original WinTV CD-ROM but would like to update to WinTV v8, you can purchase a new WinTV v7 CD on the Hauppauge webstore for $9.95
