"Happy New Year" (2014) is a Bollywood action comedy-drama film directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film revolves around 5 losers, Charlie (Shahrukh Khan), Nandu (Abhishek Bachchan), Jag (Sonu Sood), Tammy (Boman Irani) and Rohan (Vivaan Shah). They decide to prove themselves winners and plan to steal Diamonds that are to be placed in Dubai, UAE at the Atlantis hotel. The only obstacle in their path is that they will have to take part in the world dance championship (WDC) and they are the worst dancers in the world. They understand the need for a dance teacher and bring in the 6th loser, Mohini (Deepika Padukone), a bar dancer to teach them dance but keep their robbery scheme a secret from her. Whether she comes to know of the truth, whether the 5 guys will be successful in their target and what happens with the vicious entry of the antagonist Charan Grover (Jackie Shroff) forms the crux of the story.
