Ease of Use:

Hallmark Card Studio 2010 makes building greeting cards simple even for computer novices. The top of every screen offers you relevant instructions; this instruction area is out of your way, but always handy.

Feature Set:

Though not as extensive as those offered by PrintMaster Platinum, Hallmark Card Studio 2010 does offer some excellent tools and resources for greeting card making.

You can select from thousands of project templates to get started, and importing your own digital photos to use on the templates (from camera, scanner or file) is a snap. The software has a preview tool so you can confirm that you have the right images before importing.

If you don't want to use your own photos, Hallmark Card Studio's clip art section contains over 10,000 images—add one to your template, toss in some special effects (such as photo effects like stained glass, oil painting or mosaic) then import and add sound if you want. You can share finished greeting cards by email with or without sound.

Hallmark Card Studio 2010 offers excellent on-screen instructions that are relevant to where you are in the program. The software also includes a PDF user manual, a tutorial and an index search tool. Hallmark offers email and phone customer support, and their website includes a FAQ page and a user forum.
