A performance of Jonathan Kent's award-winning stage production of Stephen Sondheim and Jule Styne's musical, based on the true story of burlesque performer Gyspy Rose Lee. Imelda Staunton heads the cast as ambitious Vaudeville mother Rose, who tries to make stars of her two daughters. However, her dreams are threatened by audiences' changing tastes and the girls' desire for independence. Peter Davison and Lara Pulver also star in the show, which features songs including Everything's Coming Up Roses and Let Me Entertain You.
