Charlie Dimmock and Tommy Walsh create a garden for a lock-keeper in Molesey, Surrey, on the bank of the River Thames. While the oblivious owner is away on a health and safety course, the team build a shady, secluded area with decking and a small water feature, as well as using a new process to lay cobbled paving in record time. However, while they rush to meet the usual two-day deadline, lock-keeper Steve isn't in any hurry to come back

For eight years, Ground Force has transformed gardens across the UK and USA. The team has put away its tools for the last time but don't worry, you can still enjoy the gardens and take a look at the team's last ever makeover, at the British museum.

Alan Titchmarsh leads the Ground Force team in this series of fly-on-the-garden-wall challenges. Their mission is to swoop in and provide a much-needed make-over – and surprise the nominated “victim” with the end results 48 hours later.



Joining him are the gardening gurus, builder Tommy Walsh and gardener Charlie Dimmock. Alan Titchmarsh produces the design, and with just £750, the trio get their green fingers stuck in and use innovation and determination to build the new garden from scratch, while offering tips and hints to budding gardeners.
