Description
All of the Game Boy samples, beats, loops and multisamples were taken straight
off either an original grey Game Boy or a Game Boy Advance SP.
All the sounds were composed using either Oliver Witchow’s fantastic Nanoloop
cart or pixelh8’s music tech cart. Both of these self-programmed cartridges
allow access to the Game Boy’s 4-track sound chip to create sounds and, in
Nanoloop’s case, sequence both notes and drums.
The other SID-style samples were created using the excellent quadraSID VST by
reFX that does a really good job of emulating the C64’s legendary SID sound chip.
