Gordon Ramsay thinks it is time Britains prisoners paid their way. There
are 88,000 prisoners in the UK and it costs the taxpayer £38,000 to keep
each of them locked up for a year. Gordon has given himself six months to
set up a successful food business behind bars. His aim: to get prisoners
cooking food on the inside, to sell on the outside, attempting to get
prisoners working and paying something back into the system. But training
up a group of prisoners won't be easy...

Gordon must trust the prisoners with sharp knives if they are to be able to
cook on the inside to sell on the outside. He develops a lemon curd treacle
tart for production, and for the first time Bad Boys Bakery bread and cakes
are flogged to the general public in a pop-up shop.

One bad boy, Jerome, has been making it hard for Gordon by verbally abusing
prison officers, and has been busted down to basic privileges. The prisons
stringent systems and routines start getting to Gordon. Serial offender
Lawrence loses it in the kitchen and tries to attack another prisoner...
