Goodies, The (Betamax Collection) MKV Edition

Copies of the “The Goodies” have been floating around on the internet for decades; but the quality has always been disappointing.

I’ve found 21 episodes of “The Goodies” in my Betamax video tape library that haven’t (as yet) been released on DVD by the BBC. (And one online, so 22 in all). And as it looks like the BBC won’t be releasing anymore anytime soon ….

I’ve transferred them to digital, cleaned them up with the “Neat Video” noise reduction filter, some colour correction etc. And where possible put back material censored by the ABC here in Australia.

All but one or two episodes were recorded with Hi-Fi audio (mono).
Overall the video and audio quality is very good.
And yes, there is a black border around the video. You can work out why.
All recordings are off-air analogue recordings.
MKV format with chapter markers every 4 minutes.
