Good vs Evil [GvsE] - S01 E10 - Lady Evil.avi Downloaded from Demonoid.com.txt One thing about when GvsE aired here is it aired once and once only! It was on at 4am on Saturday mornings. So I had to stay up to record it. I didn't like to set the VCR to record while I were out or asleep for the tv networks here are notoriously bad at changing times of shows drastically without any notice so I did not trust them one iota! A bit of trivia about this episode: When I edited out the ads for this episode, the ad break just before the final scene as the lyrics of that song are being spoken out loud he mentions Val Kilmer, he also has the tattoo that The Phantom has on his chest (a spider web) - the last ad before this scene was for the movie 'The Phantom' with Val Kilmer! lol Also, the ad break before there was an Evangelical Christian Church advertisement!!! roflmao! You know that this show is about demons and stuff so that ad was placed there by that Church for a real reason - they are cheap ads at 4am on a Saturday morning and night owls like myself who are watching a show with a Hell of a Demon feel to it might lol at the ad...or they meant to convert us? ;) A scene in the ad for The Phantom also shows the same spider web tattoo. Could someone please upload these episodes onto You-Tube and sites such as Mega-Upload? This episode has a few video glitches in it that span a few seconds due to this tape getting chewed up in the VCR years ago - I had to pull out the tape which crumpled it here and there, which is not too bad considering what the tape looked like! I think there might also be glitches in the next couple of episodes too...can't be sure until I get to those though. I actually had to touch the tape with my fingers (while wearing latex gloves to preserve it) and clean it with head cleaning fluid to remove grease and other bits of dirt that ended up on the recording tape itself then add the tape into a new case for the old case was ruined after I got angry at it and threw it across the room! LOL Overall, it still works well there are just 2 or 3 short video glitches where the tape was actually eaten up in the VCR. This episode (and all others from episode 4 onwards) have no wobbly bits as the first 3 episodes of season 1 had. :) Please seed this after downloading for as long as you can - I will not be seeding these GvsE episodes forever, just until they get a foothold. :) The main reason why I am trying to capture and upload these as fast as I can (and require you downloaders to SEED them as long as you can!) is because my Government are about to filter this countries internet - this could stop all of our BitTorrent traffic... So, I will not be able to seed at all when this happens in less than 2 weeks from now! So if you want these episodes to stay alive in the future the answer is simple: SEED! :P Copied from Tv.com Good vs. Evil (originally G vs. E) chronicles the battle of...well, Good vs. Evil. On the side of Evil: the Morlocks, who sign people to Faustian deals of wealth and power in return for their souls, and can only be killed by a dagger bathed in the blood of the innocent. On the side of Good: the Corps, lead by the Minister of Defense, Deacon Jones, and made up of people who have died when they were "on the bubble" between Heaven and Hell. They get to redeem themselves by fighting evil, and getting deal-makers to renounce their Faustian deal, but if they die before completing their redemption, then they go to Hell. They have three rules to follow: #1 - No Sex (sex with a disguised Morlock condemns them to Hell); #2 - No contact with people from their past life; and #3 - no magic powers, no spells, no crystal powers - if you die, you die. The show chronicles the adventures of Chandler Smythe, recent inductee into the Corps, and his partner Henry MacNeil. Chandler and Henry battle the Morlocks while dealing with their officious superiors Ford and Decker, and the fact that Chandler is still protective of his son Ben in violation of Rule #2. I captured these episodes from my old VHS tapes. They are the original broadcast ratio of 4:3 320x240, PAL. I restored its video and audio quality to the best I can. Episodes 1, 2 and 3 of season 1 are a bit wobbly due to the 20 year old VCR I used at the time to record from old Analogue TV (not from a digital source as all TV is these days...) The rest of the episodes are not wobbly like episodes 01, 02 and 03 are. :) Sharing Widget |
