Trama :
Il regno dei Savastano è crollato. Don Pietro è in fuga, Genny è più morto che vivo. Ciro vuole il potere, Conte vuole strumentalizzarlo, Genny cerca il riscatto, soprattutto agli occhi del padre, forse l’unico elemento granitico nella sua immutabilità, sorta di divinità implacabile e vendicativa.
Arriveranno donne centrali e determinanti nella trama a creare nuovi sentieri narrativi e soldi decisivi, il Potere viene reso nudo nella sua meschinità, tanto quanto appariva affascinante nella prima serie. E come in Romanzo Criminale, un inizio persino lento e quasi intimista diverrà un conflitto totale, ferocemente distruttivo, selvaggio, in cui i gorghi Shakespeariani dei personaggi ne acuiranno violenza e ferocia. Lo vediamo da Ciro, che fa subito capire quanto è disposto a sacrificare “per arrivare in cima“.
