Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz ed Egon Spengler sono tre ricercatori esperti di fenomeni paranormali espulsi dall'Università. Non resta loro che mettersi in proprio e fondare un'impresa specializzata come 'acchiappafantasmi'. La prima cliente è Dana Barrett che nel proprio appartamento di West Central Park è stata oggetto di visite terrificanti di cui non sa darsi una spiegazione. Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz and Egon Spengler are three experienced researchers of paranormal phenomena expelled from the University. They have no choice to go it alone and set up a specialized company like 'Ghostbusters'. The first customer that is Dana Barrett in his apartment in Central Park West has been the subject of visits terrifying of which can not give an explanation. It is just the beginning of an adventure that will take ghostbusters have to try and save the city from a threat that comes from ancient times.
