Castle of the Damned

GHI travels to Ireland to investigate the terrifying stories surrounding Charleville Castle. The foreboding façade of the castle’s 18th century architecture is telling of its grim past. The tragic tale of a young girl named Henrietta, who fell to her death after attempting to slide down a third floor banister, leaves many to wonder if her anguished spirit still roams the halls. At night, the castle comes alive with unexplainable noises, including the faint sound of a child’s voice. Other reports include an elusive banging sound that travels from room to room. While investigating the staircase, Brian and Dustin experience the strange noises first hand and Barry has his own shocking encounter in the servants’ quarters. Then it’s off to England to investigate the most haunted house in Great Britain. Built in the 1400’s, Samlesbury Hall was once used as a school for girls, but its rich history includes some disturbing events. The bloodstained floor of the Priest Room is all that remains of a gruesome murder, and the tragic suicide of a prominent businessman haunts the hall. During an intense investigation, Andy and Robb discover an eerie presence in the woods, while Barry searches for answers to the bloodstained floors in the Priest Room.
