This is an HDTV version of an episode of "UFO", a 1970

British science fiction television series created by

Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and starring Ed Bishop

as Commander Straker.



This was recorded from a broadcast on the American

channel "Family Room HD". The image has been reformatted

to fill a widescreen (16:9) monitor, and is missing some

of the original 4:3 image on the top and bottom.



The broadcast MPEG-2 video has been reencoded using

the MPEG-4/AVC codec, with many of the CPU-intensive

options disabled so playback will be smooth on less

capable systems. The 5.1 surround AC3 audio remains

as it was broadcast. The resolution is 720 x 1280

pixels (720p), and the framerate is 23.976 fps (as

the series was shot on 35mm film).
